Mónica is President of ManpowerGroup for Latin America, a global leader in innovative human capital solutions. She is responsible for its operations in 18 countries, with more than 3,500 employees, and more than 120,000 outsourced employees.

She promotes diversity and partnerships between governments, civil society organizations and private initiative to match the supply and demand of the labour market. She is President of the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico and participates in different boards of educational, governmental and business institutions. She is also President of the ManpowerGroup Foundation, Counsellor of the STEM Movement and author of the book “How to get your first job”, a guide to support young people in their integration into formal employment.

Monica has been recognised as one of the most powerful business entrepreneurs in Latin America. At a global level, she was named as one of the 10 main promoters of diversity. She was recognized by the Senate of the Mexican Republic as “Outstanding Woman of the Year 2011”. In 2016, she received the award “Outstanding Woman of the Year in Mexico and Latin America in Businesses” by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants.

Mónica is an actuary from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and has a Master’s degree in Philosophy, as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Management. Her academic development includes Diplomas in Philosophy and History of Culture in Mexico.
