María Celeste ÁlvarezRepresentative, Construction Trade Union of the Republic of Argentina (UOCRA), United Nations Joint Programme on Masculinities and Trade Unions, Argentina

Maria Celeste Alvarez has a degree in Marketing from Universidad de Ciencias Sociales y Empresariales and a Diploma in Gender, Politics and Participation from the National University of General Sarmiento.
She has been working since 2012 as Coordinator of Programs for the Promotion of Equity in the UOCRA Foundation. She is in charge of developing and carrying out projects and strategies on the problems of specific groups, populations in situations of inequality, with the central axis being the policies for gender equality. Her responsibility also covers other populations, such as people with disabilities, people with problems of addictions, and the LGTBI population.
The development of these strategies occurs in two senses; training actions for specific populations throughout the country or planning and evaluation of devices that accompany them in their inclusion in labor training and their passage to the world of work.
