Peter has 40 years of experience in HR as a practitioner, academic and consultant. For the past 35 years, Peter has specialised in workforce planning, reporting and analytics.
Over a 30-year period from 1981 to 2010, Peter developed the Infohrm programme, a membership based program that provides 200+ global companies with a workforce planning, reporting and analytics solution that complements the functionality of their HRIS. During 2010, Infohrm was acquired by SuccessFactors which was then acquired by SAP in 2012. The Infohrm workforce planning and analytics software is now the SAP global WFP&A software solution. Prior to establishing Infohrm, Peter was a member of the academic staff at the Queensland Institute of Technology in Brisbane.
Peter is a Life Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute. In 2003 he was awarded the Outstanding Alumni award for the Business Faculty at Queensland University of Technology. In 2016 Peter was appointed by the Minister of Education as an external member on the Governing Council of Queensland University of Technology.
Peter regularly speaks on the field of workforce planning and analytics at various conferences and workshops in Europe, North America and Australia.
Based in Brisbane and London for the past ten years, Peter’s favourite pastimes are rugby and wine. He is married with two adult children.
