Juliana Abreu is a Partner and Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group. Juliana joined the BCG São Paulo office in 2008, where she focused on serving Industrial Goods companies, having worked with clients across many different sectors, such as process industries, chemicals, and mining.
Juliana also has broad expertise in people and organization topics, including organizational and governance design, talent management strategy, and workforce planning. Juliana recently co-authored a report titled “How Brazilian Companies Can Stretch Their Diversity Spend” that is part of a global study conducted by BCG to understand which initiatives bring the greatest return in terms of advancing gender diversity.
For the study, BCG surveyed roughly 17,500 employees and interviewed more than 200 senior executives at companies in various industries across 21 countries. Prior to joining BCG, Juliana worked for Brasil Telecom as a Product Innovation and Planning Coordinator, where she was responsible for long term product strategy in fixed telecom.
Previously, she also worked for four years as a Consultant at Pyramid Research covering the Brazilian telecom market. Juliana graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management.
